Czech real estate developer Urban Developers and Investors Ltd. Group (UDI Group) is making its first investment in Hungary, in a Budapest-based residential project.
Spanish clothing brand Zara, owned by Inditex, is closing its shop in the Wars Sawa Junior complex in Warsaw. Its place will be taken by Uniqlo, which has been operating in the facility as a pop-up store since 2021. The Japanese-origin clothing brand Uniqlo has so far been present in the complex in the form of a temporary shop of around 800 sqm. The space vacated by Zara has allowed the brand to occupy almost 1,800 sqm.
Sellpy has leased 6,000 sqm in Industra Park Arad, owned by Oresa Industra. The deal was brokered by Activ Property Services.
The third shop of the MR.DIY brand in Poland has opened in the Focus Mall shopping centre in Piotrków Trybunalski. Situated on the first floor of Focus Mall, the shop occupies approximately 655 sqm.
New appointments
Beata Rodziewicz joins the Corees Polska team as Leasing Director. She will be responsible for the commercialisation of office buildings.
Agnieszka Nizio has become the new director of Silesia City Center. This is the fourth shopping centre she will direct in her professional career. Silesia City Center in Katowice is the largest shopping centre in the Silesian Voivodeship.
Spravia is changing its board of directors. As of March 2025, Tomasz Konarski, previously CEO of YIT, will take over as the company's president. Lukasz Białecki, formerly associated with Bank Pekao SA, will also join the board and take over as CFO.
