Artificial intelligence is not a concern for CEE real estate professionals

A new report by Colliers International and international law firm CMS has found that one-third of professionals in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) believe their workplace will change over the next 2-3 years. The firms’ second annual report, ‘CEE Office Real Estate Compass: Is your workplace Millennial-ready’, looks at the changing nature of the workplace in CEE and includes a survey of 72 CEE-based professionals drawn from the spectrum of geography and seniority.

New leases

  • HCLTech is staying at Krakow's O3 Business Campus for the next five years. The tenant occupies four floors with a total contract area of over 7,000 sqm. The complex is managed by EPP.
  • Tech company Endava has renewed its lease for a further five years at the United Business Center building, part of the Iulius Mall Cluj development. The deal, brokered by real estate consultancy Colliers, covers 4,300 sqm of office space.
  • Gide Loyrette Nouel and Norton Rose Fulbright have extended their leases at Metropolitan Warszawa. The law firms have leased a total of over 3,000 sqm. of office space.

New appointments

  • Piotr Tarkowski has been appointed the new president of Dekpol Deweloper, a key division of the Dekpol Group, replacing outgoing president Sebastian Barandziek, the company announced.
  • Jonathan Cohen joins MDC2 as Head of Construction. His primary focus will be supervising the construction projects of the company. Jonathan will work closely with Jeremy Cordery, Chief Operations Officer and Founder of MDC2.
  • Savills Poland is strengthening its Industrial Services Hub team. Emil Chwieduk joined at the beginning of October, taking on the position of Associate.
