Property developer Speedwell says it will be installing photovoltaic panels on two of its office projects in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca in a bid to make its building more sustainable.
Starting this month, the company will begin the installation of a 400 kWp photovoltaic installation on the roof of Miro project in Bucharest. Next month, the developer will install 150 kWp of photovoltaic panels on the roof of Record Park in Cluj-Napoca.
“We believe that by investing in renewable energy, we can not only reduce our carbon footprint but also provide cost savings for our tenants,” said Didier Balcaen, Speedwell’s CEO and Co-founder.
The developer says its focus is to use innovative techniques and technology to improve the environmental footprint of its properties and to meet ESG standards.
