Speedwell expects to break ground in 2024 with its new villa project near Bucharest, in Corbeanca, with the first residential units set to be delivered in early 2025.
The complex Glenwood Estate will offer 209 villas in total, of which 50 will be developed in the first phase. The initial stage of the project will require a €21 million investment, while the total value is estimated at €94 million.
“The new complex of villas will be swiftly integrated within the existing community and this comes with access to a wide selection of facilities and open green areas,” said Didier Balcaen, CEO and Co-Founder of Speedwell.
The villas will be built on plots of 322 to 557 sqm, with net surfaces ranging from 141 to 202 sqm. The villa plots come with dedicated parking spaces for residents, along with additional parking available for visitors. More supporting facilities, such as sports area and restaurant and kindergarten will be integrated in later stages.
Jan Demeyere, Architect and Co-Founder of Speedwell, added that the project will be developed under the company’s ambition to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
Speedwell has in different stages of development more than 10 large projects at national level.
