Belgian developer Speedwell has started the construction works for the second phase of development for SpacePlus West project, near Bucharest. The new development will have a leasable area of 7,000 sqm, while the whole project will reach 10,000 sqm.
The first phase of the building is already at 100% occupancy rate, while the second phase is slated for completion by year-end.
“The new concept we introduced last year is already being recognized by the industry. In the meantime, the need to address the storage and production requirements of SME’s stays our priority, while remaining true to our current and future tenants in building cost-efficient well-insulated and energy efficient spaces,” said Jan Demeyere, Architect and Co-Founder of Speedwell.
Speedwell is looking to expand its industrial concept in eastern Bucharest, where it purchased land for a a 8,000 sqm warehouse under the SpacePlus brand. Also, Speedwell is building phase 2 in Chitila in close collaboration with LCV, a Belgian investor, in a 50/50 investment partnership.
