Solida Capital and Xior have formed a joint venture in Poland to jointly develop student housing projects. The first investment will be a student dormitory located in the Old Town area of the capital, close to the University of Warsaw campus.


Solida's team will be responsible for project implementation and completion according to schedule, working closely with Xior to deliver the project in accordance with agreed requirements and certificates. The facility is to be built between the Vistula River and Polonia Stadium.

Investment and legal advisors for the signing of the agreement between the companies were Bonard and the law firms Allen&Overy and CMS.

Xior Student Housing is a Belgian company that invests in student residences and manages student housing in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal. The company recently acquired Basecamp, allowing it to enter new markets: Poland, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

Solida Capital is a property development and investment company. It manages assets worth around €250 million. In 2022, it bought the West 4 Business Hub I office building in Wrocław from Echo Investment.
