Slovenian retailer Mercator has sold 10 shopping centres with a total GLA of 108,800 sqm in Slovenia to Austrian Supernova Group for €116.6 million. Mercator will rent parts of the centres, the company said in a filing to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
Mercator has already sold a shopping centre in Belgrade at the end of last year. Following the current sale in Slovenia, the company will start the third phase of a monetisation project which will include the sale of its centres in the remaining two countries (Croatia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina) where the retailer is active.
Mercator Group was advised by CBRE in the sales process.
