The largest-ever office development in Slovenia is taking shape as Slovak developer Corwin has released new information, the official name and the first visualizations of their 40,000 sqm office-retail project on Vilharjeva street.

The Vilharia project is designed by Scandinavian architectural studio Schmidt Hammer Lassen. While the design is set to be fully revealed in autumn this year, the first visualisations are already released. Corwin will also cooperate on the project with experienced Slovenian engineering studio Elea iC.

With the permit obtainment process well underway, the construction is expected to begin in 2022 and conclude in 2024. The value of the investment is so far unknown.

Vilharia should undergo the strict LEED certification process and make use of energy-efficient heating and cooling technology, green roofs, advanced air filtration and circulation system, as well as smart building controls.

“While the building reaches the final design stages, we are already in the process of negotiations with the first potential tenants who are on the lookout for a new high-quality work environment”, commented Peter Demsky, Commercial Director at Corwin.
