Evax Holding GmbH, a company owned by Peter Korbačka’s Eurovea Services, has purchased 3,836,988 shares of S Immo AG, corresponding to a 5.21% stake, from Etamin GmbH & Co KG. The transaction, which took place on 12 November, has made the Slovak businessman the third largest shareholder in the Austrian company.


S Immo is a real estate development and investment company based in Vienna, listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange. In addition to Austria and Germany, the company also has branches in Hungary, Romania and Croatia, and also owns real estate in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Its list of assets in Slovakia includes the Bratislava's Galvani Business Center I, II and IV office buildings, a stake in Einstein's Business Center and Austria Trend Hotel Bratislava. As of June 30 this year, S Immo's portfolio consisted of a total of 352 properties worth €2.4 billion euros.

This is not the first major acquisition for Peter Korbačka who is a co-owner of Slovak development company J&T Real Estate. Back in March, Carpinus Holding GmbH, a company he’s a majority owner of, acquired a total of 12,000,000 shares in Austrian company Immofinanz, corresponding to a shareholding of approximately 10.71%.
