Skanska is investing about €29 million in the third phase of Nordic Light office complex, located in the 13th district of Budapest with a total leasable area of 14,000 sqm. Nordic Light Trio is designed to meet the WELL Building Standard.

Construction works have started and the building is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2020. Completing the already existing Nordic Light office complex, it was designed by Paulinyi-Reith & Partners. The first two phases of Nordic Light - delivered in 2016 - comprise 26,200 sqm while the third phase contains 14,000 sqm.

The third phase of the office complex, as all Skanska buildings, will be built in compliance with the principles of sustainable development and with a careful respect to the environment. Nordic Light Trio aims for WELL certification and will benefit from various sustainable solutions of the whole complex, minimizing the environmental footprint and reducing its operating costs.

The building will provide additional benefits, all in the name of employees’ well-being, such as a 2,400 sqm multi-activity landscaped garden opened also to the public, bicycle storage facilities with lockers, dedicated changing rooms and showers, parking for electric cars with charging stations. An all-in-one building app will increase the comfort of everyday work. Users can access their offices with phones. The app will allow entry to the garage with license plate recognition, and creation of a virtual QR pass for a guest visitor while arranging a meeting will be also possible. The app also encourages sustainable initiatives like ride sharing. The web portal for tenants’ administration will supply analytics for better decision making.
