The dynamically developing Amsterdam hotel chain Sir Hotels is opening its first branch in the Czech Republic in mid-March. The new hotel is located near Prague's Tančící dom, reports E15.cz.
It will offer its future guests accommodation in 76 rooms on five floors of the historic building in Náplavní Street. The accommodation capacity will be supplemented by a bar, a gym or an atypical suite in the tower, intended for a high-end clientele. The leisure zone will include a library and a courtyard. The hotel will also house the first Seven North restaurant in the Czech Republic; originally the concept came from Vienna.
"Prague is a city with a soul that you won't find anywhere else, and we are happy to become part of its dynamic hotel scene," says Christine Vespermann, Director at Sir Prague, part of a collection of boutique hotels founded in Amsterdam 12 years ago. Since then, the network has grown to include branches in Berlin and Barcelona, soon to be joined by hotels in Prague and London. The Sir Hotels chain is part of Sircle Collection, an Amsterdam-based hotel design and management firm founded by developer Liran Wizman.
The new Prague hotel is located in a historic building from 1884, which has undergone a reconstruction preserving the original neo-Renaissance elements. The interior design of the hotel, which is behind the British designer Linda Boronkay, uses symbols of important milestones of Prague's culture and history.
