Financial company SIF Banat Crișana has purchased a land plot in Bucharest that hosted an industrial platform for Interagro, a company that is currently under administration, according to Economica.net.
The land was sold for an estimated €33.6 million and is located in one of the emerging office hubs in western Bucharest.
CITR, the administrator of Interagro, had made several attempts in the past years to sell the land.
Interagro was founded by businessman Ioan Niculae, who was among the wealthiest Romanians before his company started to register financial problems.
Shares in SIF Banat Crișana were down 0.41% to 2.41 lei on Thursday morning trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
