Colliers International represented the Deichmann Group in the renegotiation of a lease agreement for 13,000 sqm of modern warehouse space in Prologis Park Wrocław III and in expanding by an additional 7,000 sqm.
Prologis Park Wrocław III is one of the most modern distribution centres in Wrocław, the capital of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland. Its location next to the city's ring road and the A4 highway, as well as its close proximity to the airport, makes it an attractive distribution centre for Poland and Europe. Solutions applied in the park, such as a smart metering system for remote media reading, ensure operational efficiency and savings.
“Our clients receive not only space in key locations, but also a team of property managers to support them in their daily operations. Each extension of the contract proves to us, that the wide range of services and partnership approach works well for our clients. It is great satisfaction when their positive experiences make them want to stay with us for the next years," emphasises Magdalena Kostjan, Prologis Senior Leasing Manager.
“The decision to increase warehouse space is inseparably linked to the development of the e-commerce area and the opening of further Deichmann stores in the Baltic states. No less important is the possibility of taking further steps to automate warehouse processes in the Wrocław distribution centre,” says Marcin Musielak, Deichmann Distribution Centre Director responsible for logistics in Central and Eastern Europe.
“With the decision to extend the lease agreement and expand the operating space at Prologis Park Wrocław III, Deichmann has confirmed that well-planned, strategic actions bring benefits in the long term, even in such difficult and unpredictable conditions,” says Maciej Cieliczko, Director in the Industrial and Logistics Agency at Colliers International.
In recent months, despite the isolation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, experts from the Industrial and Logistics Agency at Colliers International have advised on 19 transactions for a total of 200,000 sqm.
