Property developer Scallier says it has secured a building permit for a new retail park located in Turda. The project will have a leasable area of 9,000 sqm and has already attracted a mix of retailers.
This year, the company has already delivered two retail parks in the country in Focșani and Roșiorii de Vede with a total rentable area of more than 11,000 sqm.
The new project in Turda is slated for delivery in the second half of 2022.
“Our retail parks reflect the requirements of retail chains and the expectations of local communities to the most possible extent. As their purchasing power is increasing, residents of the smaller urban areas expect rich and diverse offerings from domestic and international brands. So far they had to travel to larger cities to do shopping in modern malls, which required both plenty of time and extra money to spend,” said Adrian Aleman, Development Director at Scallier’s Romanian subsidiary.
The newest project in Turda will be certified according to to the international BREEAM green rating standard.
