OTP Bank Romania has granted €8 million in financing to Polish developer Scallier, for the construction of Funshop Park Turda.
The new retail project will provide around 9,000 sqm of leasable space, with the planned commercial gallery set to host 18 stores and at least 270 parking spaces.
„We are actively developing new projects and searching the Romanian market in the context of new investment opportunities, so we hope to continue cooperation in terms of another real estate developments,” said Wojciech Jurga, Scallier’s Managing Partner.
The new retail park in Turda will be completed in the second half of this year and has already been leased to retailers of the likes of Flanco, Hervis Sports and Noriel.
Gyula Fatér, CEO OTP Bank Romania, said the sustainability of Scallier’s project supported the financing decision.
