The construction of a new office building on Budapest’s Róbert Károly Boulevard is about to start, as the owner of the RK60 office building, Raiffeisen Property Holding International (RPHI), has received the building permit for the project.

The RK60 office building will be located near the Göncz Árpád városközpont metro station in Pest, with 14,500 square metres of office space available for rent, including 300 parking spaces. There will be terraces on the first floor and on the roof, which will be available to all tenants, and an internal garden.

The RK60 office building will use smart, environmentally conscious solutions to optimise the building's ecological footprint. Solar panels will help optimise energy supply and an energy-saving HVAC system will minimise energy consumption. Real-time temperature monitoring will ensure optimal working conditions inside the building. The heating system combines cooling coils (ceiling) and floor convectors (raised floor). The building has been pre-certified LEED Gold.

"We look forward to expanding our portfolio in Hungary with this new office project. We have already started discussing the ground floor layout options with our first tenants at the same time as obtaining the building permit," said Karl-Maria Pfeffer, CEO of RPHI.
