Genesis Property, the biggest Romanian owner of offices, has become the first real estate developer in the country that joined the United Nations (UN) global community for sustainability and durable development.


The company said that it will adopt a series of measures designed to support the global vision for sustainability in the local market, impacting people and the communities it is part of. Overall, the UN Global Compact is based on a set of 10 core values in the field of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption policies.

Only 20 companies in Romania across all industries have joined the UN Global Compact to date.

In 2020, the developed launched IMMUNE Building Standard™, the global standard for healthy buildings. It proposes 135 coherent and sustainable criteria for indoor spaces where people spend 90% of their time.
