Rohlik Group, the provider of online grocery delivery services, has leased a warehouse covering 12,000 sqm in CTPark Bucharest North as part of its expansion strategy in Romania.
CTP will develop the warehouse so that the company can start deliveries by the first half of 2022.
Ana Dumitrache, Country Manager of CTP Romania, says that logistics and industrial park located near Bucharest meets the demands of e-commerce players due to its location, sustainable buildings and low cost of occupation.
Rohlik is a Czech startup founded seven years ago that has reached a valuation of more than €1 billion. The company aims to cut delivery times to less than two hours since the placement of an order.
In CTP’s project, Rohlik will have dedicated storage spaces of 4,000 sqm with controlled temperature (for freezing and refrigerating) for fresh fruit and vegetables, which will be delivered directly to consumers.
CTPark Bucharest North has a total area of 21 hectares in Ștefănești locality and was developed following a €62 million investment with additional room for expansion. The developer manages over 1.6 million sqm of industrial and logistics spaces in ten Romanian cities.
