Property developer Speedwell has received the building permit for Phase 1 of the Paltim project that will feature 123 apartments out of 236 planned units, with construction works set to start soon. 

With prices still on the rise, buyers of apartments in Poland are adopting a realistic approach rather than wishful thinking in finding a property. The most noticeable change in purchasers’ preferences is that prospective buyers now tend to accept a smaller property and have a larger budget prepared.

The Capital Park Group has signed the final purchase agreement for two plots of land in Gdańsk with a total area of 1.3 hectares at the Polski Hak. It is one of the most prestigious locations in the heart of the Tricity, in the surroundings of the Motława estuary which flows into the Martwa Wisła river. The planned project is a residential development accompanied by commercial functions. The author of the winning architectural concept of land development is the JEMS Architekci studio.

JRD is starting the construction of its next Prague residential project. The Vital Kamýk project is expected to be built in Prague 12 within two years. JRD announced the laying of the foundation stone of the residential project and the start of construction in a press release.

With the purchase of a land plot on Marywilska Street in northern Warsaw, the DLE Poland fund, launched in 2021, has successfully finalised its first transaction. The property is located in a district that is undergoing a transformation from a purely industrial to a purely residential area.

Duna House has released its monthly Transaction Estimate, showing that there were 14,548 residential property transactions in Hungary in March 2022. This is the fourth-highest monthly value of the past decade. 

Develia plans to deliver 600-800 apartments in the Private Rented Sector segment (PRS, institutional rental market) this year, the company said. The current land bank allows the company to build nearly 9,000 sqm premises.

Occam Real Estate wants to expand its development activities in Košice. After the successful acquisition of the 17,650 sqm BCT1 office building, which it bought in 2020 from the development section of the investment group Penta, it is now entering the residential development field with a €30 million project, reports the web portal reality.trend.sk.

Romanian Global Investment Group has started the development of a new residential project in Bucharest that will feature 240 apartments following an investment of €40 million.  

More brownfield sites in Prague are set for new residential development. Czech developer Ekospol is planning its big comeback to the domestic development scene and wants to build 2,000 flats in Prague's Zličín district within 10 years. It is now waiting for the necessary permits to start building Ekocity Zličín, company spokesman Filip Sušanka told Property Forum today.
