PSN is starting the transformation of the Brno One brownfield in Plynárenská Street this year. In the course of the following years, it is going to turn into a modern urban district combining housing, spaces for work and leisure activities.

Brno One is the first major PSN project in the Moravian metropolis. Brownfield with an area of approximately 4.5 hectares belongs to the key strategic development areas of Brno.

The first stage of the new construction is a mixed-use building with two dominant elements, Neon and Xenon, with 188 housing and accommodation units and five commercial spaces. The building will also include common facilities such as bike sheds, laundries and community spaces on the roof terraces. The developer plans to start construction in the third quarter of this year and anticipates the completion of this first stage in the fourth quarter of 2027.

"The location close to the centre has the potential to become a new vibrant district. We believe that Brno One will become a symbol of changes in the entire area, similar to what happened, for example, in the former Vlněna or the Vaňkovka area. We are negotiating with the city about connecting the complex to the Svitava river embankment, which should become a public space following the example of modern European cities such as Copenhagen," explains Petr Pospíšil, director of the PSN branch in Brno.
