Propco, a developer focused on small warehouse facilities, has finalised a property development deal for DPD Polska Sp. z o.o. The BTS facility will be built in Boleslawiec, and will provide a total of 2,500 sqm of cross-dock space. It is the first project carried out for DPD Polska as part of a development programme of regional small-format last-mile logistics facilities. Construction of the facility has already begun, while the space is scheduled to be handed over to the tenant for use at the turn of 2022/2023.

The facility will be located directly at the national road No. 94 in the western part of Bolesławiec. The plot of land at Gen. Fieldorf "Nila" street will be occupied by a cross-dock building, which will be adapted to the needs of last-mile logistics and serve the constantly growing e-commerce sector. The facility, apart from the cross-dock hall, will offer fully finished office space and an individual car park with manoeuvring areas typical for this type of operation.

"We are finalising the preparatory and procedural work related to the implementation of a BTS facility in Boleslawiec and will soon be able to start construction for DPD Poland. Throughout Poland, we see strong demand for last-mile warehouse space. Customers who are increasingly willing to shop online expect both online shops and logistics operators to have an efficient delivery chain, enabling them to receive shipments the same or the next day after ordering. Our goal is to fill the gap in the market and implement facilities to shorten the supply chain in the region, such as the one in Boleslawiec for DPD," said Piotr Klank, Managing Partner of Propco.

Propco is a real estate developer of regional small format cross-dock facilities for, among others, DPD Poland. In addition to providing buildings for courier and logistics companies under the Last Mile Logistics (LML) format, Propco is focused on developing multifunctional commercial properties under its proprietary Small Business Units (SBU) and larger Build To Suit (BTS) or Build To Own (BTO) warehouse and production buildings for both domestic and international clients in partnership with private and institutional capital investors.
