Prologis has announced another extension of its logistics park at Szigetszentmiklós, just off Budapest.
The latest stage of the project (Prologis Park Budapest-Sziget II.) follows the signing of a preliminary lease agreement with a Hungarian-owned freight forwarding and warehousing company for 13,700 sqm of space constructed during the first phase.
"We chose this park, located just a few kilometres from Szigetszentmiklós, as the ideal location for our latest speculative development, with an additional 33,000 sqm of land available for more development in the future," said Máté Szoboszlay, Prologis Director of Capital Deployment in Hungary.
The latest development in our Hungarian portfolio is located in a premium location just 17 kilometres south of Budapest city centre, in Szigetszentmiklós, next to the M0 motorway - he added.
