Portico Investments has purchased a new Profi store in Bucharest, in a bid to expand its Romanian portfolio.
The company has 20 spaces that have been occupied by retailers of the likes of Mega Image, Carrefour and Lidl, according to zf.ro.
Portico Investments is looking for spaces with surfaces ranging from 100 to 7,000 sqm and invests from €500,000 to around €20 million in each property.
The company’s portfolio of spaces covers Bucharest and regional cities. Portico Investments is focused on primarily food-anchored real estate in quality locations that are integrated into sustainable communities creating a long-term stable cash flow operating on behalf of a leading US institutional investor, according to a corporate description. Aside from Romania, the company has ongoing investments in Hungary and the Netherlands.
