MNK Partners has acquired the Kodolányi János University building on Frangepán Street in Budapest on behalf of its MNK One Fund.
The building offers 7,500 sqm of leasable area and 40 parking spaces. The property, located in District XIII, is entirely leased on a long-term basis to the Kodolányi János University, a state-accredited non-profit university owned by Docler Holding and offering various academic programs to local and international students.
The acquisition marks the market entry in Hungary of Paris-based MNK Partners after acquisitions in Poland in 2020.
The buyer was advised by Avison Young (commercial and technical) and Schoenherr (legal and tax), while the seller, Defactoring Group, was advised by 108 Agency.
