Panattoni has completed the construction of the sixth building in the K-FLEX production and storage centre in Uniejów and together with the client has held the formal opening ceremony. With the newly completed 33,000 sqm of warehouse space, the complex in Uniejów now comprises more than 100,000 sqm
K-FLEX is a global producer of flexible insulation and acoustic materials and its production and storage complex fills a strategic role in servicing the company’s customers from around the world. The latest 33,000 sqm warehouse was opened on May 31st 2023. Amadeo Spinelli the founder of K-FLEX took part in the ceremony as well as K-FLEX CEO Carlo Spinelli, K-FLEX Polska managing director Bartłomiej Gröbner, the BTS Managing Director at Panattoni Marek Foryński, member of the Sejm Paweł Bejda, member of the Sejm Piotr Polak, the Major of Uniejów Józef Kaczmarek, Poddębicki Deputy Governor Piotr Mejer and the Director of the Marshal’s office in Łódź Maciej Kania.
“Today’s opening is another important chapter in the story of Panattoni’s work with K-FLEX. Mutual understanding and trust have led to the successful development of six BTS buildings and the creation of a complex that is strategic to the operations of our partner. The complex in Uniejów combines versatility with high standards as well as a wide range of sustainable solutions” – stated Marek Foryński, the BTS Managing Director at Panattoni.
“Today marks another stage in the development of our company in Poland, which it has been my pleasure to be a part of for the last ten years. I am very glad that we can meet here together to start another chapter in the operations of K-FLEX. Completing the construction of another warehouse is not however the end of our activities. We are planning to further develop with further projects that will create new jobs. We are planning to increase both our production and our warehousing space, which will allow us to increase our staff,” stated Bartłomiej Gröbner, the managing director of K-FLEX Polska.
Uniejów, where the K-FLEX has been developed, lies just 50 km from the geographical centre of Poland. Its location in the centre of the country about 10 minutes’ drive from the A2 motorway gives it access to key markets in both Poland and Europe. Moreover, the K-FLEX industrial park has become part of the Łódź Special Economic Zone.
