Panattoni has begun construction work on a new Built To Own (BTO) centre for the E.G.O.-Group (E.G.O.), a supplier for household manufacturers. The construction of the manufacturing plant is to start in July this year and the completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
E.G.O has been operating in Poland since 2005 and it has one of Poland’s largest household appliance components factories in Łódź. Now the complex is to be extended with a production plant on Mahoniowa Street.
“We offered E.G.O. a property in a superb location near its current operations base as well as its key business partners. At the same time this is also a location with excellent options for commuting to work. The building will be tailored to E.G.O.’s manufacturing processes and our teams are working closely together to develop the new plant to allow the company to grow quickly in Łódź. The site also has the space for a possible future expansion”, stated Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director at Panattoni.
The location, only 8 km from the centre of Łódź, provides good communications, allowing the factory not only to use the road infrastructure but also giving it access to skilled labour. The centre can be reached both by car and public transport while only being 4 km from the A1 motorway.
