Drugstore chain Rossman has started to install equipment in a new warehouse developed by Panattoni Hungary and financed by OTP Real Estate Investment Fund.

The project with a leasable area of 28,000 sqm is based in Üllő and will be fully completed by Q3 2025 following an investment of HUF 20 billion.

The project includes a 4,000 sqm, three-story semi-automated racking system, as well as offices spanning 4,000 sqm.

“This project posed a highly complex challenge, and we consider it a remarkable achievement to reach this phase on schedule, allowing Rossmann to commence the installation of its technological systems,” said László Kemenes, Managing Director of Panattoni Hungary.

András Farkas, Head of Project Development at Rossmann Hungary, added that the selection of an interior contractor for the office spaces is currently underway, to be followed by the preparation of tender documents for other facilities.

Full operations in the Üllő-based warehouse are expected to start in early 2026.
