Panattoni has embarked on the construction of Panattoni Park Gorzów Wielkopolski, planned to total nearly 70,000 sqm. The site is 7 km from the city centre, in the vicinity of the S3 route leading from Szczecin to the A2 motorway, and has already secured its first tenants. They are Omnipack and Logoplaste Polska, taking up in excess of 10,000 sqm in total.
The construction of the distribution centre will proceed in three stages, with stage one scheduled for completion this June. It is the developer’s first project in Gorzów Wielkopolski and, according to Dorota Jagodzińska-Sasson, Managing Director at Panattoni, one with a lot to offer: “Panattoni Park Gorzów Wielkopolski is an extremely attractive spot on the warehousing map of Poland. The west of Poland and more specifically the Lubuskie voivodeship, right next to the German border, enjoys the keen interest of our neighbours as an investment location for expanding their businesses into new markets. It is also a great location for domestic businesses, keen to grow outwards into Western Europe”.
The logistics centre has been designed to consist of two buildings, catering to the needs of customers from a range of business sectors. The halls feature modern loading docks, ground-level access gates, as well as ample office space which can be customised to individual needs. The project will fulfil the criteria of BREEAM certification with a “Very Good” rating.
The first tenants of the park, Omnipack and Logoplaste Polska, will take up in excess of 10,000 sqm in total. Omnipack was represented by Cushman & Wakefield, while Logoplaste Polska’s transaction was mediated by JLL.
