Romanian developer One United Properties plans to invest at least €70 million in the next two years in the urban regeneration of abandoned historical landmarks in Bucharest.
Last year, the company purchased a historical building that will be fully refurbished and rebranded as One Athenee. In March 2022, One United Properties took over the former Ford Factory, located within One Floreasca City, which will be restored and transformed into the retail project One Gallery.
The investments are part of the developer’s sustainability agenda. The company’s objectives also include the development of Green Homes certified residential portfolio, a full LEED and WELL certified office portfolio, as well as a pledge that all new office developments will meet the LEED Zero Carbon standards.
Shares in One United Properties were up 0.46% to 1.30 lei on Thursday afternoon trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
