Romanian developer One United Properties and Le Manoir, a domestic gastronomy group, have jointly acquired the boutique hotel Carpathian Lodge Măgura from Buzău, in a deal worth €2.35 million, according to ZF.ro.
The property will benefit from renovation and arrangement investments so that it will be ready to receive guests.
Cristian Preotu, the owner of Le Manoir, said the lodge will provide a luxury experience for guests with services including a private cook and a sommelier. The hotel business will be managed by Preotu’s group. He says that additional investments of €1 million will be made to upgrade the hotel building.
By acquiring the hotel, One United Properties has started to diversify its portfolio, which is geared towards office, residential and mixed-use projects in Bucharest.
