TriGranit starts new office development in Katowice

TriGranit has laid the foundation stone of the first phase of its new Class-A office development, Silesia for Business in Katowice, Poland. The office building will be the final element of the mixed-use development project of TriGranit, started 15 years ago and realised on a 30 hectares large brownfield area. The post-mining area today includes a shopping mall and residential estates, while the new office building, providing approx. 26,000 sqm GLA and more than 400 parking spaces, is expected to be completed in Q4, 2021.

Office take-up in Prague set to fall in 2019

European office take-up is forecast to reach 9.2 million sqm by the end of 2019, down 4% from 2018’s end-year volume. Prague is expected to exceed that decline, with take-up predicted to fall by 22% to 400,000 sqm as demand for office space in the Czech capital continues the downward trend that began in Q2, according to the latest Savills research.

JLL brokers new lease for HB Reavis in Bratislava

CBRE becomes PM of two Bucharest projects

CBRE was assigned to provide property management services for the projects developed by the company One United Properties in the north of Bucharest, namely the office building One Tower and the residential complex One Mircea Eliade, which comprise a total area of 24,000 square meters offices and 247 high-end apartments. Golub GetHouse opens new building of Warsaw complex

The Warsaw Mennica Legacy Tower complex’s Western Building has been opened. The sole tenant of the building is WeWork. The new location of the company will be the largest “flexible space” for lease in the whole Central and Eastern Europe. Arrangement works in the 140-metre-high Tower of the complex will constitute the final stage of the execution of Mennica Legacy Tower.

Latest news


New leases

  • The Irish Embassy in Poland will remain in its current location in the Liberty Corner building in Warsaw for the next ten years. It occupies 750 sqm of office space. JLL advised the tenant during the negotiations.
  • Arla Global Shared Services will move its local headquarters to the Punkt office building in Gdańsk. The company has leased nearly 10,000 sqm of space, to which it will move in early 2026.
  • Spanish clothing brand Zara, owned by Inditex, is closing its shop in the Wars Sawa Junior complex in Warsaw. Its place will be taken by Uniqlo, which has been operating in the facility as a pop-up store since 2021. The Japanese-origin clothing brand Uniqlo has so far been present in the complex in the form of a temporary shop of around 800 sqm. The space vacated by Zara has allowed the brand to occupy almost 1,800 sqm.

New appointments

  • Colliers has announced the appointment of Grzegorz Sielewicz as Head of the Economic and Market Analysis Department for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). His role will cover Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and Romania.
  • Genesis Property has appointed Flavia Schoech as COO, tasked with leading the development and alignment of the operational strategy of the developer.
  • Beata Rodziewicz joins the Corees Polska team as Leasing Director. She will be responsible for the commercialisation of office buildings.
