The first stage of the Kolbenova Park residential project in Vysočany in Prague has been completed and approved for use, as the design and construction consulting office Obermeyer Helika has announced. The project consisting of six buildings is gradually executed in several phases. The developer is CPI Property Group.
As part of the first stage, building C was completed and will offer 245 apartments and 11 non-residential spaces. Building C meets the energy efficiency standards of class A. The architectural design of the building is by ABM Architekti s.r.o.
The Kolbenova Park project also includes outdoor infrastructure, including the establishment of new streets. In the direction of Kolbenova Street, the building will have a commercial ground floor with various services, cafes and shops. A park with water features, a central promenade and a range of elements for relaxation, sports and entertainment will be created inside the location.
"Kolbenova Park is an interesting project for us. Our statics division is also involved in the preparation of the next stage of building B, which is awaiting a building permit. I would also like to mention one technical feature of the building: the application of anti-vibration measures at the transition between the basement and above-ground parts to protect the building from vibrations from the nearby metro and tram line," said Ing. Jaroslav Němeček, Project Manager at Obermeyer Helika and added: "Unfortunately, noise and vibrations from traffic are a frequent problem in cities. That's why we counted on the application of an anti-vibration solution at the very beginning of the design process."
