Investor NREP wants to take control of property developer 7R. The Scandinavian fund has already acquired another Polish logistics developer, BIK SA, in 2021.

Information about the potential acquisition was reported by the Polish daily "Puls Biznesu". The application for the acquisition of joint control over 7R was submitted to UOKiK (Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection) on April 12th and is awaiting a decision by the office's president.

NREP operates, among others, in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Its portfolio includes offices, flats and warehouses. The fund entered Poland in 2021. Its first transaction was NREP NSF IV's acquisition of 100 per cent of the shares of Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych, another Polish logistics developer. BIK's operations are overseen by Logicenters, NREP's logistics platform.

7R is a Polish warehouse developer, which also specialises in managing and leasing industrial properties in Poland. It has been operating on the Polish market since 2009.
