Local developer Nordis Group aims to increase its presence in the hotel business and attract more investors. The company has invested in two projects with high tourism potential in the mountains and the seaside.

In Mamaia, the company is developing 746 hotel rooms and apartments, alongside 613 residential units, as part of an €70 million investment. In the mountainous city of Brașov, the group is investing €31 million in a 5-star hotel and residential units.

“We are thinking about a leisure hotel chain. We are also analyzing an urban concept, a business hotel that is needed in any big city with a strong economy,” said Alexandru Mihai, managing partner of Nordis Group, according to zf.ro

The group aims to sell each hotel room and the buyer can lease it to the hotel. After an initial contract of 30 years, the buyer can keep the hotel room or can rent it again to the hotel operator. The group says that such an investment generates an annual yield of 7% for the investor.

Nordis is also developing luxury residential units in Bucharest.
