Smart office startup Nooka Space aims to develop its Romanian network through partnerships with property developers and hospitality operators.
The company entered Romanian last spring following an investment of €1 million and plans to open at least 20 proximity offices in Bucharest by year-end. The focus of openings will be in residential projects, according to Sergiu Băbășan, Country Manager Nooka Space România.
”The option of working remotely and flexibility is becoming increasingly important for employees. This puts quite a lot of pressure on employers, who are now in the position of having to find the best solutions to keep a balance and provide their employees with optimal working conditions. Nooka Space is responding to this need by developing a network of micro-workplaces close to employees' homes and areas of interest,” said Băbășan.
Outside Bucharest, Nooka Space aims to add offices in Timișoara, Constanța and Oradea. The startup plans to expand its international footprint with new smart offices in The Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Austria and Belgium.
