Nexity has announced that sales of apartments in its latest investment in Warsaw - La Praga in Radzymińska St. - has come to an end. The transaction has been sealed by a contract made with a Dutch investment fund Van der Vorm Vastgoed, which acquired all available apartments (more than 80% of apartments in the real estate property). The fund declares that they will be available for long-term rental.

Van der Vorm has been present on the Polish market for 5 years. With its diversified portfolio, the company is investing in real estate property intended for long-term lease. La Praga is its latest major investment in Poland. Margarethe van der Vorm stated that Van der Vorm Vastgoed Group sees Poland as a strategic and important market and being a long-term investor, it believes in the strength and the potential of the Polish real estate market. The Group is seeking for new opportunities and is considering similar projects based in Warsaw and Kraków.

“We cooperate with partner companies specialising in property management and maintenance. Provision of services is centrally controlled. In addition, the Group has a creative team of real estate developers who continue to enhance and protect the real estate portfolio,”  explains René Voortmeijer, the Operating Director of Van der Vorm Poland.

“The district of Praga Północ is unquestionably an attractive spot on the investment map of Warsaw, but the interest taken by the investor in La Praga property mainly reflects the high quality of apartments delivered by Nexity. For years, we have been offering comfortable apartments with an affordable price tag with turnkey option available within Nexity Studio programme, a solution extremely popular among investors and private clients,” explains Adam Dąbkowski, the General Manager of Nexity Polska.

“La Praga investment has drawn our attention as its stands out with its practical location, post-industrial character of the district and comfortable access to Warsaw’s well-developed municipal transport as alongside the price, these are  the key aspects for tenants who are looking for a place to rent. It is also located in the proximity of our investment in Szwedzka St. Equally important is Nexity’s commitment to sustainable development, which is a vital factor that drives expansion of our portfolio,” argues Voortmeijer, Van der Vorm Group’s Operating Director.

The contract was signed on 4 December in Warsaw. Nexity was supported by Dentons legal firm, while Van der Vorm was represented by Konieczny Wierzbicki legal firm.
