MOL Campus, the headquarters of the biggest company in Hungary, has already obtained a BREEAM Excellent certification. The complex offers 86,000 sqm of office and some retail space on 28 floors to host 2,500 staff.

The first skyscraper building in Hungary was developed by Market Építő Zrt. and opened in December last year. Foster+Partners and Finta Studio were the main designers and Óbuda Group took part in the project as a special advisor.

These two international green certifications were given to recognize the fully sustainable construction process, from sourcing and transporting building materials to implementing the latest green technologies. Heating and cooling are managed by a special heat pump system providing 40% of the necessary energy.

There is an extensive roof-top sun panel system to spare 5-6% of the overall energy used. All of the grey water is managed and used for the greenery and flushing toilets.
