Mint Investments’ residential fund (MINT I. rezidenční podfond SICAV) has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of four apartment buildings in Plzeň-Skvrňany with developer Trigema Real Estate. Construction of the 100 apartments for rent is scheduled to be completed in Q4 2022. The parties did not unveil the transaction price.

"Pilsen is an interesting location for our fund with a functioning market for apartments and rental housing. That is why we are very pleased that we have managed to conclude an agreement with such a strong developer as Trigema." says Radim Bajgar, Partner at Mint Investments.

"Following the example of Western European countries, rental housing in the Czech Republic is becoming more and more prominent, which is why we are already working on further acquisitions, especially in Prague, Brno and Pilsen. We are also evaluating opportunities in other economically strong urban agglomerations." Bajgar said.

MINT I. rezidenční podfond SICAV is an open-ended fund designed for the general public, focusing on rental housing.
