Owners Meyer Bergman and Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan have put Ostrava’s Forum Nová Karolina shopping centre on sale, Hospodářské noviny reports.


According to the Czech daily, the estimated price of the shopping centre is €260 million. The current owners (British investment firm and a Canadian pension fund) acquired the asset together with Ústí nad Labem in 2011 for €300 million, which was sold to NEPI in 2016 for €82.6 milliob.
 
The 58,000 sqm shopping centre, which opened its door in 2012, produced sales of CZK 2.5 billion last year with footfall of around 9 million people.
