Construction works have already started at MDC² Gliwice Park. The facility will consist of three buildings with a total area of over 57,000 sqm, located on a plot of 13.4 hectares. The first of the three buildings is scheduled to be commissioned at the turn of July and August 2023, and the opening of the other two at the turn of September and October 2023. The first tenants will move into the park in the third quarter of this year.

The distribution park is being built considering the BREEAM New Construction certification guidelines at the Excellent level. The project received one of the highest scores in the BREEAM system thanks to numerous solutions improving the energy efficiency of buildings and a friendly environment for all users of the park.

“By meeting the key assumptions of the sustainable development strategy for business evolution, MDC² meets the highest quality standards of ecological design. Thanks to maintaining the high quality of the investment process and the achieved technological parameters, the facility in Gliwice will be characterized by significantly lower operating costs. The natural consequence of this strategy is the reduction of the negative impact on the environment. The project was also developed to create a health–friendly climate that levels up comfort for its users,” says Katarzyna Dudzik, Development Director at MDC².

In the field of operation of the facility, MDC² guarantees broadly understood energy-saving solutions for tenants and building service: increased wall insulation, roofs adapted to the installation of solar panels, chargers for electric cars, utility consumption monitoring system, rainwater recycling, biodiverse areas around buildings, relaxation zones or mini-facilities sports.

The project is fully funded by Invesco.
