Marriott International has agreed to open the first Sheraton hotel in the Hungarian capital. The grand opening is scheduled for June 2023. The new hotel will offer 105 rooms and a medium size conference facility and will be managed by Accent Hotel Management.
Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube hotel is the first unit of that brand owned by Marriott International which has five other hotel brands active in Hungary. The new hotel is part of the City Pearl mixed-use property development project carried out by the Turkish concern Polat Group.
Sheraton will focus on business travellers and offers a wide range of services for this target group. This hotel is the 27th managed by Accent Hotel Management firm.
Silvija Lovreta, Regional Business Development Director of Marriott International added that the firm is to open more hotels in Budapest in the next two years: Dorothea Hotel, Autograph Collection and W Budapest will be available for business and luxury clients.
