News Article Manufacturing complex in Slovakia gets new owner

The departure of ICU Medical from the manufacturing complex in the southwestern Slovak city of Vráble, made a modern light–industrial facility available for sale on a vacant possession basis. The complex consists of facility with a gross usable area of 7,000 sqm and 3 ha of available land for further development The new owner, Slovak company TESGAL, provides surface treatments of metal parts used mostly in the automotive and consumer industry. 


The sale of the property was concluded within 9 months by the Industrial Agency team from JLL Slovakia, which was instructed to advise ICU Medical on the sale of the production plant last year.

“This transaction underlines that current demand in Slovakia is not only focused on the large industrial parks – portfolio products, but investors also see attractive opportunities in single-tenant stand-alone units located in the Slovak regions,” adds Samuel Šporka, Head of Industrial Agency JLL Slovakia, “I am glad that we were able to use the great potential of this property and to facilitate the sale in record time of 9 months.”
 
The facility is located in the industrial zone in the northern part of Vráble, Nitra region, with good connection to R1 highway. The industrial zone already accommodates production companies such as Kongsberg Automotive, CESAM, Pall Slovakia, Semecs and others. The production plant was established in 2010 for a California-based company, ICU Medical.
