Global logistics solution provider Mainfreight has started operations on a new distribution hub in Timișoara Industrial Park (II), a project jointly developed by Globalworth and Global Vision.
Aside from Timișoara, the company is present with a central logistics warehouse in Ploiești and regional distribution hubs in Cluj and Bacău.
”The Timișoara branch becomes a regional hub for national distribution and a gateway for groupage lines to and from Central and Western Europe,” says Alexandrin Macavei, Business Development Eastern Europe Mainfreight.
Timișoara Industrial Park is located near the airport and offers spaces for production, storage and logistics operations.
Globalworth and Global Vision are currently developing the third phase of Timișoara Industrial Park, with an area of 20,000 sqm, Chitila Logistics Hub, phases II and III – 52,000 sqm and Constanța Business Park, with 25,000 sqm of logistics, processing and production spaces, including a 15,000 sqm retail park.
