Logicor continues expanding in the Czech Republic when it acquired a 100,000 sqm brownfield close to Prague, further strengthening its presence in this crucial market and nearly doubling its footprint.
The brownfield that Logicor acquired is located just half an hour’s drive from Prague. It is two kilometres from the town of Turnov, in the municipality of Prisovice. This strategic location is at the heart of a busy transport crossroad linking regional cities Mlada Boleslav, Liberec and Jicin, and providing direct access to highway D10, which connects Prague and the national border with Germany and Poland.
Logicor is committed to working in close collaboration with the municipality and the local community to redevelop the brownfield into a modern and ESG-compliant asset. This will see Logicor implement a range of sustainability measures and provide cycling paths and road improvements to benefit the local area.
“As a long-term owner and developer, we are excited to have acquired this brilliantly located brownfield site. We look forward to regenerating the area by improving the landscape and fueling business activity in the local community,” said Pavel Rufert, Director at Logicor Czech Republic and added: "Due for completion in Q1 2024, the Logicor asset will enhance an already established industrial area by providing our customers with a modern, sustainable property. Occupiers will benefit from its location in this sought-after area along the D10 highway, with access to a busy transport junction and existing railway siding.”
Logicor has been operating logistics assets in the Czech Republic since 2017 and currently manages approximately 110,000 square meters in the country.
