The InTeFi investment group has become the majority owner of the Cassovar Business Center I building in Košice following a €30 million acquisition. The building comprises 13,500 sqm of office space and a 7,000 sqm shopping gallery.

"It is a multifunctional building with long-term occupancy and stable leases, in which we see great development potential," said Lukáš Novák, CEO of InTeFi Group.

This is not the investment group’s first venture into the real estate market. Last year, InTeFi announced the construction of the Spišská project in Nitra which will comprise six multifunctional buildings with 230 residential units, spaces for shops and services, as well as underground and outdoor car parks. The value of the project is €25 million and the start of construction is scheduled for this year.

InTeFi operates in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. It brings together companies from the fields of finance, real estate, IT as well as retail through the Euromedia Group publishing house and the Luxor bookstore network. In Slovakia, the group also includes the financial-intermediary company Fingo.sk and the Fingo Reality online platform. Additionally, the group includes the Golden Oak Trust, which offers investments in gold coins and the technology company BOOTIQ, which is one of the fastest-growing IT companies in CEE.
