Belgian real estate developer Liebrecht & wooD, continues the development of its second outlet centre on the Romanian market, in Cernica, near Bucharest, despite the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, zf.ro reports.
Fashion House Outlet Village Cernica will be 12,590 sqm open-air shopping gallery, carefully designed to offer the look and feel like a historical old town. The outlet will be a part of Cernica Retail and Leisure Park (almost 75,000 sqm GLA). The project will have two development stages. In the first stage, Liebrecht & wooD will deliver 41 stores and the second phase will offer another 21 stores. The announced investment is up to €14 million.
“This year we started the construction of the second Fashion House outlet centre on the A2 motorway, in Fundeni, near Lake Cernica. We are also developing a real estate project in Frumuşani, near Bucharest, which will eventually have over 4,500 homes and be home to over 15,000 people. We will continue these projects and concentrate on the actions we will be able to do during this period, under the given conditions,” Sorin Ioan Blaga, General Manager of Liebrecht & wooD Romania told zf.ro.
