JLL’s valuation department, under the leadership of Ján Zibura MRICS and Petr Strýček, has valued the portfolio of the largest owner of apartments for rent in the Czech Republic, RESIDOMO.

The portfolio includes properties mainly in the north of Moravia, in cities such as Ostrava, Opava, Frýdek-Místek, Karviná and Havířov. The valuation of RESIDOMO's portfolio, who is a long-term client of JLL, was done for the purpose of issuing bonds.

"Given the purpose of the valuation, the size and the type of portfolio, this project was one of the most complex projects that I had the chance to work on. But thanks to this fact it was much more interesting. We hope that RESIDOMO will put its trust in JLL in the future and we will be able to provide another high-quality valuation of their portfolio," said Petr Strýček from JLL Valuation department.

RESIDOMO, s.r.o, is owned by Blackstone and Round Hill Capital. It currently owns approximately 43,000 residential units in the Czech Republic in 4,700 buildings, with a total area of about 2,678,000 sqm. The market value of the portfolio exceeds €1.1 billion. The value of the issued bonds was €680 million with a seven-year maturity. Goldman Sachs, together with HSBC and UniCredit, led the bond issue. Major bond buyers were one of the largest world's and local institutional investors.
