JLL has appointed David Vais as head of its Industrial Agency in the Czech Republic. Vais joins JLL from CTP Invest, where he worked for over 4 years as Senior Business Development Manager for the Czech and Slovak Republics.

Vais will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with existing and new clients in Prague. In his new role, Vais will focus on strengthening the structure of the industrial department in order to be able to respond adequately to the dynamics of the Czech market. He will lead a team of experts and thanks to the support of Senior Consultant Jana Slavíková, he will have the opportunity to devote himself fully to the clients right from the start.

David Vais joins JLL leadership at a time when the economy is at its peak, and the industrial real estate sector is one of the key areas where investor interest is focusing. The dynamic logistics industry is heavily influenced by technological progress and the arrival of a young, yet a very experienced person who ensures a rapid response to the latest trends and challenges.

“The world of real estate is evolving rapidly and the industrial and logistics sector is no exception, with new technologies, e-commerce and labour shortages providing investors and occupiers with more opportunities and challenges than ever before. The appointment of David strengthens our existing market-leading expertise in the Czech Republic that our clients expect from us in this changing world, and we are delighted to welcome him,” said Guy Gueirard, Director of EMEA Logistics & Industrial.

“The Czech Republic's strategic location within Europe will continue to attract developers and tenants through - and beyond - 2018. The country is headed towards a record-breaking quarter in Q3 2018 thanks to the expected completion of 300,000 sqm. This showcases many of our clients' impressive ambitions, which are the driving force of what we do,” added David Vais, Head of Industrial Agency.
