Zeitraum, an international operator of student housing schemes, has just taken over the management of its first dormitory in Poland as Zeitgeist Asset Management, an investor operating on the Polish market for several years, finalised the purchase of a privately-run student hall located in Kraków from NNS. The asset is located at 33 Koszykarska Street and has been operating under the Unibase brand for three years. It can accommodate 345 people in 157 rooms. The first students will move into the building in September. JLL experts supported the investor in the purchase of the asset.

Malthouse Offices, the biggest office building of the Warsaw Brewery complex, as well as the historic Malthouse were acquired by Deka Immobilien, an international investment and asset manager. The buildings were sold for approximately €152.3 million.

Real estate developer OKAM has purchased 62 ha of post-industrial land in Żerań in Warsaw for an undisclosed amount. This is one of the largest transactions of this type on the real estate market, not only in the capital, but also throughout Poland.

German investor and asset manager Palmira Capital Partners has acquired a last-minute logisitcs facility in Łódź for its European Core Logistics Fund (ECLF) for an undisclosed sum.

ZDR Investments Group has acquired the Tesco hypermarket in Senec, east of Bratislava, from Tatra Asset Management. Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in their divestment.

Investments in Romania’s commercial real estate sector amounted to €303.6 million in the first half of the year, which was a drop of 21% compared to the same period of 2020, according to CBRE Research data. 

Slovak developer Immocap has secured €44 million of construction financing and €50 million of investment financing by UniCredit Bank for The Mill office project in Bratislava’s Mlynské Nivy. The completion of the project is expected in 2023.

Polish residential developer Murapol has filed a prospectus with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) in connection with the IPO being considered and the start of listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The ČS nemovitostní fond, managed by REICO, is acquiring Panattoni Park Tychy DC1 in Poland. The value of the acquisition is approximately CZK 1.1 billion (€42 million). This brings the number of properties owned by the fund to 19.

Accolade Group, in cooperation with its JV partner, invested almost €26 million in a Class A warehouse facility in Wielenin-Kolonia in Central Poland. The entire facility is occupied by K-Flex, a worldwide leader in the production of elastomeric insulation, with a lease term of 17 years.
