The opening of the Moxy Bucharest Old Town hotel in the historical centre of the capital is planned to take place by the end of 2019.
Back in 2013, Marriott has collaborated with a subsidiary of Inter Ikea Group, the parent company of Ikea furniture, to create a new brand of hotels called Moxy. The brand targets young people with medium budgets, namely those active travellers who want to see the world, but who do not want to pay too much for accommodation.
The developer of the Bucharest hotel is Apex Alliance. Optim PM is responsible for project management. The hotel will feature 119 rooms.
